The service
AlephZero provides a public catalog of writing and related community features. Features may change, pause, or end as the project develops. We may update these terms when the service changes; the updated date will appear on this page.
Accounts
Provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and use only accounts you are authorized to control. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may restrict or suspend an account to investigate abuse, protect the service, or enforce these terms.
Acceptable use
Do not break the law; harass or impersonate others; interfere with the service; evade access controls or rate limits; introduce malware; scrape in a way that degrades availability; access another person’s data; manipulate votes or contests; or submit deceptive, infringing, or unlawfully obtained material.
Good-faith security research is welcome only when it avoids privacy violations, data destruction, service disruption, and access beyond what is necessary to demonstrate the issue. Report findings through the contact page before public disclosure.
Articles and contributions
You retain ownership of original material you submit. You grant AlephZero a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and preserve that material as needed to operate and promote the catalog. You confirm that you have the rights needed to grant this license.
Editors may review, format, correct, decline, or remove submissions. Published catalog coordinates are intended to be permanent, but permanence does not require us to host unlawful, harmful, insecure, or rights-infringing content. No article receives privileged standing over another.
Contests
Each contest may include additional rules, eligibility requirements, deadlines, judging criteria, and prize terms. Those specific rules control if they conflict with this general section. Do not share restricted answers, use unauthorized assistance, exploit judging systems, or interfere with other entrants. We may disqualify entries to protect fair operation.
Intellectual property
The AlephZero name, interface, original editorial material, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for permissions clearly granted by the service or an applicable license, these terms do not transfer AlephZero’s rights to you.
Disclaimers and liability
The service and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free content, or suitability for a particular purpose. Educational material is not professional legal, medical, or financial advice.
To the extent permitted by law, AlephZero is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of the service. Nothing here excludes a right or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
